NYC & COMPANY, New York City's tourism and marketing arm, has released the following statement regarding the Swine flu:
NYC & Company continues to monitor the swine flu situation carefully. As of Tuesday, April 28, the outbreak is isolated to two schools in Queens. There are no travel restrictions to New York City. As Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg has stated during the past few days, "New York City is open for business, and it is safe to travel here." We will continue to work closely with other New York City officials to assess the situation, but we encourage visitors to continue with their travel plans to the City as normal.
